Support
Estate Hub is run by a small team, and we answer every message ourselves. Write to support@getestatehub.co.uk and tell us the name of your estate, what you were doing and what you saw. A screenshot helps. We aim to reply within one working day.
Is this about the estate, or about the app?
Estate Hub is the software; your estate's management company or managing agent runs the estate. We can fix the app, but we cannot fix the lift, answer a service-charge question or approve a membership. For those, use the app:
- Something is broken or unsafe: Requests → Report issue. Management sees it straight away, with a response-time clock running.
- A question for management: Requests → Inquiries → New inquiry. It goes privately to the right company.
- Who manages my estate? More → Estate info lists the management company, the managing agent and the emergency numbers.
Joining an estate
I don't have an invite code
Invite codes are issued per flat by your estate's admins, not by Estate Hub, so we cannot create one for you. Ask your management company or managing agent for the code for your flat. If you already live with someone who is a member, they can generate a household-member code for you from More → Homes and roles.
My code says it has expired or been used
Codes expire, and most work only once. Ask an admin to issue a fresh one; it takes them a few seconds.
My membership is “pending”
Some estates ask an admin to approve each new member first. You can read announcements while you wait, and you will be told when you are in.
I've moved flat, or I own one flat and rent another
One account can hold several homes and roles. Redeem the new code from More → Add a home or role. When a tenancy ends, the leaseholder of the flat can end the tenant's access, or an admin can.
Signing in
- No email arrived: check spam, and that you typed the address you signed up with. Emailed links work once and expire after an hour; request a new one.
- Apple or Google sign-in: use the same provider you first joined with. If you are not sure, “Email me a link instead” always works.
- Forgotten password: “Forgotten your password?” on the sign-in screen.
Notifications
More → Settings → Notifications. Each kind (announcements, your requests, messages, community, market, events, polls, documents) has its own switch, with quiet hours for everything. New post and new listing alerts can be instant or a once-a-day summary at 18:00. Urgent notices from management ignore quiet hours; that is deliberate.
Reporting content or a person
Every post, comment, listing, message and profile has Report in its menu. Reports go to your estate's moderators, who can hide or remove content and mute people. To stop someone contacting you, open their profile and choose Block. If you think something needs us rather than your estate's moderators, email support with a link to it.
Your data
Export my data
More → Settings → Account → Export my data. You get a file with everything your account holds, usually within a few minutes.
Delete my account
More → Settings → Account → Delete my account, or email support from the address on the account. Deletion removes your profile, your sign-in and your memberships, and removes your name from everything you wrote. Issues you reported and notices you acknowledged stay in the estate's records with no name attached, because the estate needs its maintenance history. See the privacy policy for the details.
For estate admins and managing agents
The admin console is the same app in a browser: More → Admin console, or app.getestatehub.co.uk/admin. For set-up, bulk imports, new blocks, a change of managing agent, or anything to do with your subscription, write to hello@getestatehub.co.uk.
Security
If you believe you have found a security problem in Estate Hub, please email support@getestatehub.co.uk with “Security” in the subject before telling anyone else. We will acknowledge within two working days and keep you informed.
